Vacancy Detail

As an Apprentice Motorhome Technician, you will work alongside our experienced lead technicians, learning the unique trade of motorhome servicing, diagnostics, and repairs. Motorhomes are essentially "homes on wheels," meaning your training will cover a diverse mixture of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and gas systems.
No prior motorhome experience is required—we are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, a passion for problem-solving, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Under the supervision and mentorship of senior technicians, you will learn to:
• Habitation Servicing: Perform comprehensive safety and functionality checks on gas, water, 12V/230V electrical systems, and bodywork.
• Accessory Fitting: Assist in installing aftermarket upgrades such as solar panels, reversing cameras, awnings, bike racks, satellite systems, and lithium batteries.
• Diagnostics & Repairs: Identify and resolve faults across mechanical components, appliances (refrigerators, heaters, boilers), and living area fixtures.
• Damp & Water Ingress Testing: Conduct routine moisture inspections and assist with body seal repairs.
• Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI): Prepare new Sunlight and Robeta motorhomes, as well as pre-owned vehicles, for handover to customers.
• Workshop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

Qualifications Required

No previous automotive qualifications are required.
GCSE 9 - 4 (A* - C) or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English.
Predicted GCSE grades are acceptable.
Driving Licence
