Brief Description
A Body Repair Apprentice works alongside experienced vehicle body repair technicians to learn how to repair damaged cars and light commercial vehicles. The role combines hands-on workshop training with classroom or college-based learning, usually leading to a recognised qualification in vehicle body repair
Vacancy Detail
• Assist technicians with vehicle body repairs and panel replacement
• Prepare damaged vehicles for repair work
• Learn how to remove, repair, and fit body panels and components
• Sand, fill, and prepare surfaces for painting
• Use workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Carry out basic repair tasks under supervision
• Help maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop
• Follow health and safety procedures and company standards
• Support vehicle inspections and damage assessments
• Complete apprenticeship training, coursework, and practical assessments
• Work as part of a team to meet repair deadlines and quality standards
• Learn customer service and professional workplace practices

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are desirable but not essential
