Our Level 2 Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship is a 12-month, blended learning programme designed to set you up for success. You’ll gain valuable, hands-on experience working within the industry while also developing the essential knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a hospitality career.

Kings Arms, situated in the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield is a family-owned traditional pub and Indian grill house serving your favourite drinks whether that is Beer, Ale, Wine, Cocktail's, Spirits or soft drinks to enjoy alongside delicious Indian food.
The Kings Arms is the perfect setting for you to visit with family and friends, to relax and sample some of the finest fresh Indian Food cooked by our Chefs.

Hospitality Team Members are responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure guests have a positive experience.

Their duties include:
• Interacting with guests: Greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and drinks and ensuring cleanliness.
• Specialised roles: Depending on the establishment, roles may include food and beverage service, barista, housekeeping, concierge, guest services, reception, reservations and conference and banqueting.
• Adaptability: Being ready to support team members across the business, especially during busy periods.
• Customer Service: Recognising customer needs, matching them to products and services, and working as part of a team to ensure every customer feels welcomed and looked after.

Hospitality Team Members must have introductory knowledge of the hospitality industry, including the culture of the industry and the importance pf delivering a customer experience. They should appreciate the importance of hospitality behaviours such as personal conduct, being adaptable, using initiative and communicating with a diverse range of people.

Qualifications Required

• Apprenticeship entry level basic Maths and English is required, GCSE/Functional skills are not required, as they can be achieved alongside the Hospitality Qualification.

Skills Required

• Previous experience in a Hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential.

Other Information

Training Provided:
- A mixture of face-to-face and Teams sessions twice monthly
- A mixture of on and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars
- Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Remit Development Coach
- Feedback sessions to discuss progress
- Obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths (if you don’t already have GCSE or equivalents)
- 20 hours of paid work every week
