Our sales support role plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, providing exceptional service to our clients, and contributing to the success of our promotional campaigns.
They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Support Apprentice to join our dynamic sales team. This role offers you the chance to learn the fundamentals of sales support, customer service, and administrative functions, all while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Sales Administration: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing quotes, processing orders, and maintaining customer records.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to customers, handling inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Order Processing: Help process and track customer orders, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth order fulfilment. Data Management: Maintain and update the customer database, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Sales Team Assistance: Support the sales team with the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
- Communication: Act as a point of contact for customers, offering support via email, phone, or in person, and ensuring all customer queries are handled effectively.
- Product Knowledge: Learn about our products and services, providing key information to customers to help drive sales.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to ensure that sales targets and customer needs are met.
Qualifications Required
GCSE Maths & English grade C/4
Personal Qualities
• Reliable, punctual, and conscientious
• Eagerness to learn and responsiveness to feedback
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to perform well under pressure
• Comfortable with a commission-based structure
Skills Required
- Strong interest in sales and customer service
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop in a sales environment
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Previous customer service or administrative experience is a plus, but not essential
