Remit are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Oxford, who are on the lookout for a Junior Content Producer to join their team, who specialise in high-quality renditions of book manuscripts to ePUB for all eReaders such as iPad, iPhone, Kindle, NOOK, etc.

Vacancy Detail

Salary: £12,480 pa
Location: Kennington, Oxford, OX1
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm
Qualification: Level 3 Junior Content Producer

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Designing and typesetting print books for clients using Adobe InDesign
- Create and edit content on existing and new websites for our web development and hosting arm
- Develop eBooks and audiobooks
- Updating and creating web and print assets for the book fair including social media adverts, posters, flyers etc.
- Dealing with email correspondence from exhibitors as well as assisting in the setup of their online profiles.
- Administration work, such as taking and collating orders for advertising.

Qualifications Required

GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent qualification)

Personal Qualities

An interest in learning new skills and a hunger for showing off existing talent.

Skills Required

A good level of competence with using PC based applications is required, and the candidate will be using a range of applications including:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- Excel, Word and other MS Office tools
- OneNote
- Audacity sound editor
- WordPress
