Brief Description
This position requires that the staff member be flexible, well organized, good at communicating and have good problem-solving skills. The person needs to take a proactive approach to be able to contribute in keeping the company’s IT infrastructure working and up to date where required.

Qualification: ICT Support Technician apprenticeship level 3
salary: £7.00 - £7.40 per hour for the first year
Location: Preston
Hours: Mon - Thurs 8:15 - 15:45 Fri 8:00 - 13:00
Roles and responsibilities:
•Providing high quality support of the company’s business software and hardware systems throughout all processes
•Liaising with team to undertake routine day to day maintenance of printers, end user devices and ancillary equipment
•Support roll out and updates on hardware and software systems
•Support the team setting up new and recycled technology
•Support the team to resolve any IT related issues – undertaking research to help solve these issues if necessary
•Support the development of the company’s IT systems and policy
•Assist in identifying and sharing opportunities for IT improvement programs
The position is full time and all appropriate training/instruction will be given.

Qualifications Required
•5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language, Maths & ICT)

Other Information
Holiday entitlement:
The holiday year runs from 1st January to 31st December.
You are entitled to 20 days a year calculated at the rate of 1/52nd of the annual entitlement for each complete week of service.
In addition to this, the following bank holidays can be taken and will be paid. New Year’s Day, Good Friday, the first and last Mondays in May, the last Monday in August, Christmas Day and Boxing Day
