Our client is an Electrical and Instrumentation Services contractor with projects in UK and Ireland, involved in projects across many sectors such as Oil & Gas/Chemicals, Pharmaceutical and more!

Our client is seeking a driven and creative individual to support our social media channels and produce fresh and engaging visual content to promote our key campaigns and events such as: Recruitment, Careers, Awards, Projects and so forth.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will be central in the next phase of our communications strategy to build our digital brand and communicate internally as well as externally.

Office Based
Salary: £13,500 (negotiable)
Hours: Monday-Friday (9-5)
Location: Billingham
Roles and responsibilities:

· Support the development of a social media and content strategy for Eastgate.
· Plan, create and manage a pipeline of digital assets - photography, video, graphics, copy, to communicate the work and support our key campaigns such as health and safety, QA/QC initiatives, careers and apprenticeships, diversity and inclusion, and so forth.
· Create mobile content to reach new audiences and maximise user content and experience across our various channels to grow followers and engagement.
· Film and edit video content to deliver campaign, industry and thought-leadership pieces across mobile apps and website, engaging and coordinating external partners for wider projects.
· Manage relationships with creative agencies and suppliers to deliver integrated paid digital campaigns for key moments.
Supporting Management by Identifying opportunities/markets and assess all opportunities for the business
Collate and share marketing intelligence
Establish key contacts within potential client companies
Work with MD to ensure all marketing material is representative of business goals and values
Edit and update all materials focusing on business development, including websites, intranet, email alerts, and brochures
· Translate company insights, innovations, and dialogues on key issues for digital platforms.
· Development of Trade Show program and promotional material / equipment. Participation in targeted trade show events throughout the UK as and when required.

Qualifications Required

GCSE's English and Maths at grade C or 4 and above

· Experience within a team that delivers a rolling programme of multiple planned projects, campaigns, and initiatives, with agility to respond to emerging issues.
· Flexibility to work irregular hours if needed.
· A commitment to continuous learning with ambitions to create excellent content and channels by proactively suggesting new features, based on best practice.
· Ability to prioritise workload with strong attention to detail.
· A team-player, who enjoys collaborating with and supporting colleagues.

Skills Required

· Experience of working across a range of social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
· Video experience essential, including filming and editing, scripting, and storyboarding, and best practice in accessibility.
· Experience of design/ editing software.
Experienced in working for an Electrical Contractor is beneficial
Previous Business Development experience within the sector
· Proven experience in coordinating and conducting video, audio, photo, and graphics production for online channels.
· Experience of delivering social media strategies and creating and curating engaging and inspiring content.
· Experience in producing and issuing newsletters using email marketing platforms (e.g., Mail Chimp) an advantage.
· Experience in building and managing targeted paid social media campaigns from briefing to measurement and analytics.
· Proven experience of excellent writing and editing skills
· Experience in using WordPress an advantage.
· A full driving license and a willingness to travel to visit project sites in Ireland and the UK.
