IT Support Apprenticeship (Level 3)

AFI Group is a leading provider of access solutions, from the hire and purchase of access equipment to accredited training and service/maintenance of machines. With a current network of 21 hire locations across the UK, AFI has a strong emphasis on Health and Safety and is proud to hold various accreditations (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18001, 5* Achilles BuildingConfidence, Gold RoSPA award – to name a few).
Roles and Responsibilities within the Apprenticeship include:
- Work towards Information communications technician (level 3) Apprenticeship and CompTIA A+ Certification
- Providing first-line support to over 300 colleagues, diagnosing and investigating the issues they face.
- Valuable practical experience in a busy IT team, providing support to members of the team, and the wider AFI team.
- Work on problem-solving and fault-finding on multiple devices, such as PCs, Laptops, Mobiles, and different software packages.
Qualifications Required
GCSE in English & Maths at grade C/4
Skills Required
- You must have a clear interest and aptitude for IT.
- You must be confident and outgoing, with an excellent telephone manner.
- You will need to demonstrate enthusiasm for the role.
- You must work well under pressure and take instruction well.
- The role will require some traveling during work time to visit our depots. A willingness to travel is a must, and a full driving licence/own transport would be beneficial.
Future Prospects
As well as the chance to receive full on-the-job training throughout, by the end of the apprenticeship, you'll have gained nationally accredited qualifications.
