Brief Description

Are you 16 or over and looking to kick start a career in the automotive industry?! At Lookers, one of the top three motor retailers in the UK, we are looking to recruit Service Advisor Apprentices within the Newcastle area NE2

Qualifications Required

You must have gained or be working towards GCSE 4-9 or above in Maths and English or equivalent.

Personal Qualities

Good general computer skills as this will be your daily workstation,
confident and good communication skills with the ability to talk to customers
punctuality/attention to detail
Must be approachable, smart/presentable, punctual and friendly

Skills Required

• Good levels of literacy and numeracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and listen to instructions.
• Ability to build good relationships with colleagues across the business.
• Ability to ask questions and learn quickly on the job
• Willingness to use your own initiative.

Future Prospects

This can lead to a full time position with ongoing training although no guarantee of this.

• Maintaining the service reception while greeting customers in person and via telephone
• Assessing customer needs and advising on service / repair requirements
• Providing customers with accurate costs and timescales for service / repairs carried out
• Updating the system with customer and service / repair details
• Selling additional products and services
• Handling customer complaints in an effective and timely manner
