Remit Training is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Computer Pro for a motivated and technical apprentice to join the team, and undertake training on the Level 3 ICT Support Technician apprenticeship.

Vacancy Detail

IT Support Technician Apprenticeship - Level 3
Between £10,000 to £12,000 p/a

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Receive instruction and supervised on-the-job training and undertake directed learning
• Provide supervised off-site customer support and instruction: in person, and via phone, email and remote desktop access
• Troubleshoot issues, including online research for solutions
• Accompany senior engineer on client visits, to observe and assist with jobs
• Diagnose hardware faults, and perform hardware repairs and upgrades
• Detect, investigate and remove infections: viruses and malware
• Install, update and configure operating systems, software and security packages, and peripherals on Windows, Mac and Linux platforms
• Assist with developing and updating client websites on web-based CMS platforms
• Assist with network installations, configuration and management: routers, switches, firewalls, NAS etc: makeup ethernet cables
• Escalate issues to supervisor/team leader as required to meet objectives
