Qual: Level 3 Information Communications Technician
Location: Piccadilly, Central London
Salary: Between £12,000 to £14,000pa
Computer Being is a business that offers a range of different solutions to clients around the Central London area. The Apprentice they are looking to bring on will have the chance to experience support with these, including Data Recovery, Computer, PC and Laptop Repairs along with general IT Support. So if you want to flex your technical skills, this might be the role for you!
Roles and Responsibilities;
- Overall, to assist clients based in the London Area with software and hardware issues.
- Liaise with your Line Manager to solve and adapt to problems where appropriate.
- Helping to resolve technical issues, and get involved with troubleshooting, installing, recovering and updating.
- Developing your diagnosing and troubleshooting knowledge to find issues with hardware or software malfunctions
- Ensure to comply with internal policies and legislation to work within a safe and secure manner.
Qualifications Required
To be considered for this apprenticeship you ideally will need to have achieved 5 GCSEs Grade 4/C or above (including Maths and English)
Any Microsoft qualification would be advantageous
You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in IT or Technology
Personal Qualities
As a company, Computer Being places a strong emphasis on the interactions that take place globally across the business and, as an Apprentice this is especially important as you will be communicating with key stakeholders within the business and externally.
Therefore it is essential that you conduct yourself in a professional manner and can ensure that you always ensure that Computer Being is represented in the best possible way.
You will have a keen eye for detail and be a quick learner.
Skills Required
Any demonstrable experience in the use of a range of ICT equipment and applications is a bonus
A demonstrable willingness to undertake apprenticeship training
Some knowledge of technical aspects of ICT
Some knowledge of internet technology, hardware or software
Any Microsoft qualification would be advantageous
