Brief Description
Remit are recruiting for Propaint Accident Repair Centre who have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to kick start their career and join a skilled team as a Vehicle Paint technician.
Vacancy Detail
Once the body repair technicians have worked their magic repairing the vehicle, it will then be your job to restore the vehicles paintwork back to its former glory.
This involves:
• Preparation – stripping, sanding, and masking
• Etching and priming areas to be treated
• Colour matching and mixing
• Paint application techniques including spray booth technology
• Buffing and polishing methods
• Paint defect corrections.
Qualifications Required
• Nationals at level 4 or above in English and Math’s
• It is also preferred if you have a Craft Subject and physics/science these are advantageous but not mandatory.
• A desire to work in the Automotive Industry
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Confidence in problem-solving
