Brief Description

Are you looking to start your career in customer service and a sales-related role?
Remit are recruiting on behalf of ArcelorMittal, based at their site in Birkenhead CH41 3HZ for someone to join their sales team. You will undertake a Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 apprenticeship.

Vacancy Detail

Your duties will include:
• Follow Health & Safety policies & procedures reporting any issues or breaches.
• Assist with the collation of Test Certificates daily.
• Raise sales orders & pass on to production planning for allocation & planning.
• Work closely with designated sales executives supporting them in customer relationships & the recruitment of business.
• Engaging with new customers & contacts.
• Ensure that the administrative processes required to fulfil customer orders is organised & carried out efficiently i.e orders, reply to enquiries related to lead times & stocks whenever appropriate.
• Highlight to line manager any stock problems that arise.
• Check that all documentation/information received from the customer is clear, precise & acceptable in terms of quantity, size/gauge, specifications, price, delivery dates etc.
• Follow all the requirements of quality standards as they apply to the role.
• Any other duties required by the business
Salary is NMW

Qualifications Required

Mathematics GCSE Grade C or Grade 4 – Mandatory
English GCSE Grade C or Grade 4 – Mandatory

Keen to learn

Skills Required

• Attention to detail
• Excellent communicator with good personable skills
• Good Telephone manner
• Strong administration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Computer proficient with Excel and Word.
