Salary: £22,000pa with additional OTE based on the career progression timeline
Qualification: Level 3, IT Technical Salesperson
Ideally 5 GCSE's graded C or 4 and above, including English and Maths
To succeed in this role, you will need to be confident, hard-working and prepared to learn sales and technical skills.
No experience is required as you will be fully trained by our client, in both sales methodology and technical knowledge.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals, with an interest in the IT market who are looking to develop a successful career.
You will be selling to new customers over the phone, and targeting opportunities, so you must be prepared to be proactive.
It is likely that there will be further progression within the Business, Provided the Apprentice has completed the program in full and has showcased the right skills and attributes.
The company have a clear progressive route for these Apprentices, where they'll progress with the following;
- Starting as an Apprentice BDE
- Progressing to a Senior BDE
- Developing as a BDE Team Leader
- Becoming a fully fledged Account Manager
Our client is looking to hire a new team of Business Development Managers to drive sales of their Cloudlake, backup and datacentre propositions. Your job will be to prospect accounts, qualify opportunities and book meetings for prospective customers. You will work closely with their Datacentre and Cloud specialists working the full sales cycle from inception to close.
Sell the Cloudlake and datacentre portfolio to prospective clients
Uncover and qualify datacentre and cloud opportunities
Prospect private and public sector verticals
Work the full sales cycle for opportunities raised
Book and conduct meetings with new clients
Achieve business set KPIs, including booked meetings and raised opportunities
Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast
Maintain and improve industry knowledge via ongoing personal training
Due to the company modelling their new offices in Kingston upon Thames, there will be an Assessment Centre taking place in July for candidates to attend so they can meet the business and have a day with other applicants.
