Level 4 Software Developer Program

As a "Technical Consultant," you'll be working across teams to stand up new systems and extend/customise existing settings. The job mixes software development expertise with knowledge of the digital marketing business. It is a fully hands-on role focusing on direct delivery of client billable work, in conjunction with the project management team and solution architects.

Daily Duties & Responsibilities...

Implement scalable, secure and high performing SaaS applications.
Perform the technical onboarding of new customers
Display/develop an understanding of email marketing technology and advertising.
Design and Coding of web pages, forms, ETL scripts – web production and other software deliverables.
Step in to provide Technical Support to customers as required.
Work closely with Enterprise Architects and Technical Owners to develop applications aligned with the Mapp business strategy
Collaborate on cross-functional agile teams that include Product Owners, QA Engineers and fellow DevOps Software Engineers to implement the next generation of Mapp applications.
Stay abreast of technology trends and industry best practices to hone and maintain your talent

Qualifications Required

Ideally, at least 5 GCSEs graded C or 4 and above
At least 1 years experience or a Level 3 qualification in Software or IT due to this being a Level 4

Personal Qualities

Proficiency in managing projects including scope, scheduling, and change management in project management or customer service role
Fluent English speaker
Data analysis
Detailed understanding of email marketing and digital advertising and associated KPIs
Ability to interpret, drive, and support customer vision and thinking
Exceptional time management skills & flexibility in working hours
Ability to identify and help mitigate risks and issues
Strong interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills
Training and mentoring skills, as well as the ability to self-study

Skills Required

Developing web applications in a highly transparent agile organization with iterations, continuous integration and a drive for quality
Experience with PHP is required (or any other programming language);
Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery is required; ·
Experience with any XML, APIs, Web Services, Web Forms, RSS, FTP is required
Experience with Java/JSP/JSTL, Object-Oriented programming is preferred;
Experience with PERL, Python is preferred;
Experience with SQL database (understanding databases/writing queries) is preferred
Experience using Google Cloud (alternatively AWS) to deploy and maintain software applications is preferred;
Experience designing and implementing SaaS highly available, scalable, secure and multi-tenant applications;
Proven ability to design and implement web services in a RESTful manner, along with understanding our broader service-oriented architectures;
Proven ability to work within a cross-functional agile team;
