We are delighted to be recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice based in Derby on behalf of our client, Right Legal Group. The role comes with an excellent starting wage of £15,000-17,000, tied into an apprenticeship that will give you the qualification and the skills to build your career within IT.. They are looking for a hardworking, organised individual who is flexible and willing to learn. If you already have a personal interest in IT / Technology, alongside a passion for self-improvement then this may be the role for you!

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Document or escalate ICT tasks as appropriate to ensure a clear audit trail and progression of issues
• Support the roll out of upgrades or new systems or applications
• Install and configure relevant software and hardware as appropriate.
• Supporting colleagues with internal systems with software and hardware issues.
• Leasing with Manager to help roll out new and efficient solutions to technical issues
• Provide technical support to customers both internal and external through Ticketing systems & Teams platform

Qualifications Required

5 GCSEs including maths and English
IT GCSE would be beneficial but not essential

Personal Qualities

• Ability to work well with others,
• Contribute to a positive working environment
• Remain professional and courteous towards clients at all times
• willingness to learn and develop a career in IT
• Takes ownership for personal development

Skills Required

• An interest in IT and a drive to develop new skills.
• Knowledge of Office 365 suite.
• Must have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to recognise sensitive information and maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• The ability to work effectively in a busy office environment.
• Good organisational and time management skills are essential.
