Roles and responsibilities:
-Undertake 1st Line telephone and remote support to clients.
-Perform regular maintenance checks for clients (both on-site and remotely).
-Install and Configure hardware and software remotely and at client premises.
-Log details of all work and issues in the appropriate systems.
-Assist all customers with their queries to the best of his/her ability, in a professional and courteous manner.
-Be willing to find answers to all queries addressed to them.
-Be ready to research queries using a variety of resources.
-Be willing to learn as he/she progresses in his/her position and as he/she is faced with new situations.
-Stay abreast of current news, system information, problems, changes and updates relevant to our clients.
-Pass any opportunities for new sales to the Business Development Function.
-Undertake other reasonable duties as directed by the Helpdesk Team Leader
Qualifications Required
GCSEs in Maths and English
Personal Qualities
Articulate, numerate, confident, self-motivated.
Smart appearance.
Flexible approach, helpful attitude.
Skills Required
Good communication at all levels, strong customer-facing skills, and a good telephone manner.
Have a ‘can do' attitude and propose solutions to problems.
Ability to organise himself/herself.
Ability to work within a team as well as on their own.
Attention to thoroughness.
Full driving license or a provisional license with a driving test imminent.
