We are delighted to be recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice based in Hounslow on behalf of our client, Hiyos Practice Healthcare. The role comes with an excellent starting wage of £13,650, tied into an apprenticeship that will give you the qualification and the skills to build your career within Digital Marketing.

As an IT Support Apprentice, you’ll be working closely with our First and Second Line IT Support staff as they support our existing and new users’ IT requirements.
You’ll have a keen interest in IT and must be able to work as part of a busy support team. Working closely with other departments you will need to build relationships with both internal and external customers.
The role & responsibilities:
• This will be at first contact or updating staff on using different platforms. Show empathy to less technical customers.
• Instruction delivered either in house/external/vendor as appropriate
• The apprentice will have access to learning within the job. This will give the ability to self-learning outside of the set Apprenticeship.
• Training will be given with the escalation paths explained.
• Setting up iPhone and laptops will be undertaken in the office under supervision. AV support for rooms within Service Headquarters will be part of the role.
• Training will be given on prioritisation level and assignment.
• Understanding of the regulations and security access
• Software installation to laptops/PC’s. Apps to phones.
Qualifications Required
GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths at Grade 9-4 (or equivalent)
A solid understanding of the internet and website functionality and design
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work on your own as well as part of a small team
