Operating across over 50 employment locations across the UK, BCA also comprises the largest finished vehicle logistics operation of its type, including vehicle storage, preparation and refurbishment as well as the UK?s biggest vehicle transporter fleet.
As an AutoCare Apprentice you will receive technical training as well as customer service and retail skills.
Day to day tasks will vary but include:
? Inspecting, removal, repair or replace:
o Tyres, exhausts
o Shock absorbers
o Brakes components
o Filters
o Batteries
? Customer Service:
o Answering incoming calls and queries
o Speaking with customers to advising them
o Problem Solving
? Retail:
o Speaking with suppliers
o Placing orders
o Up-selling
Qualifications Required
? If you have achieved a level 2 or higher in a similar automotive qualification, you may not be eligible
? Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) grades of 9* - 3 (A - D) in English and Maths
Personal Qualities
? Attained or working towards ? Full UK driving licence at the permissible age
Skills Required
The job involves numerous activities and technicians will need to be comfortable with a wide range of vehicles.
As a technician, you will often be working as part of a team, so good communication and being able to follow instructions would be good skills to have.
