Roles and Responsibilities:

? Responsible for handling first and second-level support of service requests in a professional and timely manner relating to all technology, including workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software
? IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft?s core business applications and operating systems
? Basic technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
? Basic remote access solution and support: VPN, & Remote Desktop
? System documentation maintenance and review
? Communication with end-users as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed with outages
? Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively
? Managing and liaising with 3rd party vendors/suppliers
? Working closely with Service Delivery and Project Manager on various projects

Qualifications Required

GCSEs in Maths and English
Driver's licence beneficial

Skills Required

? Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels;
? Experience of working within an IT Support team
? Knowledge of helpdesk systems and an ability to adapt to new software/programs;
? Up-to-date experience and knowledge of current Operating systems and technologies;
? General knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange Server;
? General knowledge of Local and Wide Area Networks;
? Have a working knowledge of Active Directory;
? Experience in working with Anti-Virus and Backups;
? Experience in working with DNS/DHCP/Group Policy etc.
? Experience in working with Microsoft Cloud technologies (Azure, Office 365)
? Microsoft qualifications are desirable
