Brief Description

Gloss LTD is seeking an apprentice working towards Software development level 4. Want to develop your frontend web development skills in a fast-growing and dynamic workplace? Gloss is looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about expanding their web development knowledge.

Vacancy Detail

Software Development (front-end) Apprenticeship- Level 4
?7.50 for first 6 months, increases to ?8.50 after.
Main duties and responsibilities:

? Creating website designs
? Producing sites using wordpress
? Meeting with clients to discuss requirements and/or project progress
? Demonstrating and receiving feedback about draft sites
? Keeping up to date with recent technological and software developments
? Developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages such as HTML and Javascript
? Creating products that are user-friendly, effective and appealing
? Digital retouching and image editing

Qualifications Required

? 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language, Maths & ICT)

Personal Qualities

? Organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
? Good Microsoft Office skills (particularly in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
? Team player, enjoys working in a team
? Good communication skills
? High self-motivation and strong desire for continuous improvement and success
? Good work ethic

Skills Required

? Knowledge and experience of using Wordpress
? Knowledge and experience of using HTML and Javascript
? Good Microsoft Office skills (particularly in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
? Good communication skills
