Vacancy Detail
Remit are recruiting on behalf of award-winning Afia's Samosa Shop for someone to join their food production team, based in Birmingham B6 4PT.
You will gain a nationally recognised Food Production Level 2 qualification and have the opportunity to improve your English and Maths skills.
Typically, your duties will include:
- preparing food in line with portion sizes and following the prescribed recipes
- ensuring excellent presentation of all products in line with brand guidelines
- minimising waste
- ensuring the timescales are met and great customer service is delivered
- using specialist kitchen equipment
- ensuring compliance with all health and safety, food safety legislation and processes including keeping all the work areas clean and tidy
Please note that this role will be 30 hours per week Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm with opportunities for overtime or the chance to become your own business with the delivery service.
Qualifications Required
None required ? but you will be asked to undertake assessments in English and Maths as part of the recruitment process
