This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude looking for their next challenge.
We are looking for a trainee reservationist who would like to gain some practical experience within the company, utilise his/her skill set and have the opportunity to contribute to the business growth and development of our exciting company.
As a Trainee Reservationist you will be providing reservation sales, ticketing, reporting & sales support services for the airline clients represented by the company.
Responsibilities:
- Taking reservations calls from both direct passengers and trade partners
- Generating airline bookings, changes, ancillaries, etc. and issuing/reissuing tickets/EMD?s (auto & manual fare-build)
- Processing invoices and payments of airline tickets, whilst adhering to strict airline and company reporting guidelines
- Daily & monthly airline sales reports and reconciliation
- Providing excellent customer service both on the telephone and face-to-face
- Dealing with ticket reissues, upgrades, reroutes, lost tickets etc. both over the phone and face-to-face
- Group bookings and tour operator allocations, including issuing of contractual terms & conditions in conformance to individual airline protocols
- Supporting the airline sales team as required
- Liaising with Airlines? local management and head office
This opportunity includes 5 weeks of pre-employment training allowing you to learn the skills you will need to identify your future talent and unlock your potential within the workplace. Following on from this you will then complete 3 weeks of work experience to showcase your talents and what you have learnt from the course, get more familiar with the people in the company and the role, after which you will be work-ready. During the 5 weeks of pre-employment training, you will be working towards a qualification in Customer Service along with improving your employability prospects, maths, English & digital skills, all of which are vital within any workplace and will help you feel well prepared for work. On completion of the course you will be offered a GUARANTEED INTERVIEW with the employer, providing you with feedback upon completion of the placement.
Other Information
The 5-week pre-employment training will be delivered online/face to face in a group with other applicants. The hours for the training are Monday ? Friday 9:30AM to 4:00PM. The 3-week work experience may have varying hours depending on business demand. All information will be provided during your Induction on your first day.
Remit Training will provide you with a dedicated Trainer to support you through the 5-week pre-employment training then a Placement Coach to support you through your 3-week work experience.
