Remit Training are recruiting on the behalf of our esteemed client, who offer dedicated IT Support and a team of qualified IT and Cabling Engineers and they're looking for someone who can become a Technician and Engineer that their customers can depend on.

Duties & General Responsibilites

Assist and support the team on the IT Support Desk
Carry out a variety of IT and Technical support, either remotely or on-site
Proactively monitor and maintain networks and continuously solve ongoing problems
Utilise Support software to create and maintain various documentations
Get involved in Data Cabling duties in the office and on site, installing Fibre Optic, single or multi mode and Cat6 cabling
Ensure work is carried out to a high standard at all times
Show a commitment to the role, company and its customers

Qualifications Required


Personal Qualities

Literacy skills to read and understand technical language and instructions
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to problem solve.

Skills Required

Confidence when it comes to working with customers and colleagues
Some working knowledge of IT and Data Infrastructure would be a bonus
A demonstrable willingness to undertake apprenticeship training
Willing to undertake other further training
Some knowledge of technical aspects of ICT
Some knowledge of internet technology, hardware or software

Future Prospects

As well as the chance to receive full on the job training throughout, by the end of the apprenticeship you?ll have gained nationally accredited qualifications as well as English & Maths Functional Skills Level 2.

The Trust aim to provide opportunities for further employment at the end of this training; subject to successful completing the course, objective and funding being avalible.

Candidates applying should be aware of the following;

Due to some of the companies contracts, some portion of the role will require travelling to the companies different clients all over the UK.
Staying away will be required but for an Apprentice the company will limit this for the first year or so.
