Yard Operative - Topcliffe

Frontier Agriculture is the UK's leading crop production and grain marketing business, recognised for its close customer relationships with farmers and grain consumers and its successful management of the arable supply chain.

Duties:
Site and H&S inductions.
Manual handling training and operational equipment training (e.g. granary or seed plant)
Working as a member of the operations team to process seed to the Frontier standard (industry leading), including bagging of product and an introduction into plant operations.
Granary operators will assist site operations staff with intake, cleaning (and drying if required) and storage of bulk products. This will include an introduction into site plant operation and product storage/monitoring.

Harvest is a period of very high activity so trainees will experience the full range of activity and production on site, Including the operation of either seed plants or granary operations. This includes the processing of seed/food products and/or the correct handling ad storage of a multitude of grain products.

These vacancies are for 19-24 years old candidates only. This opportunity includes 4 weeks of pre-employment training allowing you to learn the skills you will need to identify your future talent and unlock your potential within the workplace. Following on from this you will then complete 6 weeks of work experience to showcase your talents and what you have learnt from the course, get more familiar with the people in the company and the role, after which you will be offered a GUARANTEED INTERVIEW for a job role. During the 4 weeks of pre-employment training, you will be working towards a qualification in Customer Service along with improving your employability prospects, maths, English & digital skills, all of which are vital within any workplace and will help you feel well prepared for your work experience and the GUARANTEED INTERVIEW.
