Vacancy Detail

Our client; ProVu Communications have been the market leader within IP Communication Distribution for 20 years. Being the no.1 distributor for a number of manufacturers serving the business to business IP Communications market place.

They are planning to build further on their success by recruiting an apprentice technical sales person to serve the existing customer base. The plan is to develop the successful individual further and enable them to take on greater responsibility and develop an area of expertise within this fantastic future market. The individual will become a specialist across a specific set of products / technologies and be able to help existing and new customers onboard this technology.

This role will be developed into with regular reviews ensuring the successful candidate has the support to be on track with their progression. Primarily the business operates inbound lead generation but from time to time there will be an opportunity / need to utilise an outbound sales strategy

For the first Initial 6 months the successful Apprentice will be;
? Learning their systems and Process?
? Handling courier queries
? Processing of orders
? Responding to customer queries and requirements
? Learning more about IP Comms Technology

Then following a successful 6 month review the Apprentice will be;
? Consulting on customer projects - where full training will be provided
? Managing of sub set of portfolio including; product launches, marketing campaigns etc. - full training provided
? Managing relationships with ProVu's Supplier, Manufacturers - and full training provided
? Managing a set of specifically assigned accounts, including but not limited to account reviews, relationship management, quotations etc.
? Managing their own sales

Qualifications Required

At least 5 GCSE's graded A*-C/9-4 including English, maths and ICT - or the Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent.
