Chandler Computers are actively looking for a technically minded individual to join them and assist in providing high quality and timely ICT technical support to users and customers from their Birmingham location.
The Apprentice who is successful in this position will have the opportunity to truly delve into the world of Technology, IT and Infrastructure Support with the chance to gain an industry accredited qualification with full support and training in the Infrastructure Technician Apprentice Level 3 standard; along with additional vendor qualifications in CompTIA A+ units.
The successful Apprentice will be working closely with Chandler Computers customers acting as the first point of contact, they will then respond to issues including troubleshooting, fixing, dealing with hardware problems, fixing issues, upselling etc.
The Apprentice responsibilities will be:
- Answering the phone
- Updating jobs
- Assist with general Troubleshooting duties
- Serving in the shop and taking payments
- Logging jobs
- Ordering parts
- Learning and helping to repair equipment such as computers, servers, laptops & iPhones
- Assisting with remote support
- Responding to emails
- Helping with some general Administration

After full completion of the Level 3 there will be a full time position available to the candidate if they demonstrate the right attributes and skills.
