Vacancy Detail
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice to learn and become able to take ownership of projects, take pride in your work and pull together as part of a team. It's an exciting time to be a part of our client business as a rapidly growing company.
Working within the Application Development Department, the Apprentice Developer will be working as a member of CareShields development team, supporting the build on new functionality for their online applications and assisting with the technical support and maintenance of their online system.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
Assist with the support and development of new system code
Support with the development of new Stored procedures
Provide continuous ongoing system support and maintenance
Aim to provide general department support when required
Assist with QA support for development projects
Work towards the achievement of the Software Development Technician Level 3 in a timely manner

Qualifications Required
At least 5 GCSE's graded C/4 and above including Maths and English
Personal Qualities
Strong IT skills
Good communication skills
Good team working skills
Personal organisation skills to support in the administration of the role
Professional attitude and motivation for personal development through the apprenticeship route
Attention to detail
Skills Required
If you have any knowledge or understanding of software development or programming languages then this is a potential bonus
