Vacancy Detail
As an Auto-Care Apprentice you will receive technical training as well as customer service and retail skills.
Day to day tasks will vary but include:
? Inspecting, removal, repair or replace:
o Tyres, exhausts
o Shock absorbers
o Brakes components
o Filters
o Batteries
? Customer Service:
o Answering incoming calls and queries
o Speaking with customers to advising them
o Problem Solving
? Retail:
o Speaking with suppliers
o Placing orders
o Up-selling
Qualifications Required
No formal qualifications are needed, although a good standard of numeracy and literacy would be an advantageous.

Skills that are desired:
? A keen interest and passion for motor vehicle
? Logical approach to problem solving
? An awareness of how to work safely
? An enthusiasm to learn new practical and theoretical skills

Future Prospects
On completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will be fully qualified as a Light Vehicle Mechanic in which you could receive an average salary between ?15,000 and ?24,000 a year.
