Remit are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of Veron Group. They are looking for a Customer Service Apprentice to provide a great experience for their customers

Vacancy Detail

Veron Group are a transport and recruitment company based out of Trafford Park in Manchester.
With over 20 years experience in the industry, they are able to provide tailored and cost-effective transport, distribution, recruitment and warehousing service.

The successful candidate will work closely with more experienced members of the Transport Planning and Operation departments while being supported to gain your Customer Service qualification and secure your place as a valued team member.

Main role will include but not limited to:
? Provide updates to customers via e-mail and telephone
? Managing and supporting Transport Operation
? Marking up time sheets, invoices and mileage claims using the companies? vehicle tracking system
? To manage the companies HGV fleet, including organising maintenance, repairs
? Maintain and update transport issue log
? Take calls and respond to email enquiries
? Support Credit Control and POD's department, processing a high volume of delivery notes
? Attend all team meetings and as necessary suggest service and protocol developments
? Gain experience in all aspects of Credit Control, starting with Cash Allocation progressing to more complex Credit Control work

Qualifications Required

GCSE 9-3 (A* - D) or equivalent in English and Maths are required and we will support you to help develop your knowledge further.

Skills Required

Knowledge of Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook would be advantageous
