Qualifications Required : Ideally grades A*-C/9-4 in Maths and English or the Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent are required

Starting as a Technical Sales Apprentice with our client will present the Apprentice with the opportunity to work with people who are supportive and can help guide and progress their career.

As a Technical Sales Apprentice within the Business; the Apprentice will have the chance to not only work alongside a team thats been involved in a variety of projects, but they will will also have the chance to work in-house towards an Industry Accredited Level 3 qualification in the Technical Salesperson Diploma; gaining a tailored understanding of industry products and services, alongside working experience within the company.

Roles & Responsibilities

Start within the company and learn how to establish new relationships in order to generate new Business
Have the chance to gain and learn Sales techniques
Support the internal team by learning how to target accounts of various sizes
Be proactively responsible for Marketing all of the Business products; which will include everything from two-way radios and accessories to full communications systems.
Aim to deliver Sales success across the Business and their clients entire portfolio
Help to manage a selection of the companies existing accounts

Have an interest in IT Systems and solutions

Be ambitious to learn about a variety of products and solutions available within the Business - including modern IT Communication Systems but not restricted to Wi-Fi aces points, switches, routers and IT Protocols would be an advantage
Have a confident telephone nature
Future Prospects : As well as the chance to receive full on the job training throughout, by the end of the apprenticeship you’ll have gained nationally accredited qualifications as well as English & maths Functional Skills Level 2.

The company also aim to offer the apprentice a permanent role at the end of the training (subject to successfully completing course and objectives).
Training to be Provided : This apprenticeship will help you to gain the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours to sell technical products and services. You will maintain good relationships with a variety of customers, including new and existing clients, both internal and external, either within the UK or internationally. You will approach potential customers with the aim of winning new business or working with existing clients to gain repeat business wherever possible. You will receive regular training to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of the technologies and services that are available within your portfolio and those that are emerging and with specialised training become a confident, effective sales person within your organisation. By combining technical knowledge with industry-leading sales training, you will be selling as quickly as possible putting you in charge of your earning potential. Working as an individual or as part of a team you will gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours to enable you to successfully carry out tasks as directed and meet organisational objectives and sales targets. As a result, you will receive the following qualification: IT Technical Salesperson Pathway Level 3, Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)
Other Information : The Apprentice will start off on a salary of £10,000 per annum; with an additional bonus of £2,500 that can be achieved
