Remit Group are recruiting on the behalf of our client; The Studio 4; an esteemed Creative Marketing agency, full of diverse and professional individuals. They're again looking to expand their teams and are wanting to bring on a Web Developer Apprentice!

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a Creative Marketing Agency; who are known for combining creativity with cutting edge technology to produce stunning and functional Marketing materials. Our client have had many previous successful Apprentices' who've gone on to enjoy progressive careers within the company; so our client are keen to bring on another individual to join their Web Development team, ideally someone looking to take their career to the next level in the evolving world of Web Development.

The successful Apprentice, working with the title of Web Developer Apprentice will assist a small close-knit development team that consists of Developers with varying skill-sets. As well as the chance to gain on the job working experience; the Apprentice will also be working towards a Level 3 Qualification in the IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals; alongside constant help and guidance which will be on hand throughout this programme.

Duties and Responsibilities

Have the chance to work with various languages such as HTML and PHP - so if you have strong knowledge and the aptitude to learn quickly then this will be a bonus!
Assist the senior team by helping them to build websites and work on general web development whilst supporting other team members if needed.
Learn and become comfortable in working with E-Bulletins and dealing with content management systems
Aim to continuously improve development processes and best practices to use in-house
Have the chance to expand current knowledge and experience using various Web Development tools

INDIT

Qualifications Required

Your required to have at least 5 GSCEs at grades A*-C/9-4 including English, maths and ICT (or the Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent).

Personal Qualities

Have a distinct passion for Website building and Development
Have an ambitious and determined mindset
A keen willingness to learn and excel within the company
Good written and spoken English

Skills Required

General knowledge and experiences with IT
Knowledge or experience with HTML or PHP
An potential additional understanding of Web Development
Be able to self-mange your time and workload
Able to be organised and prioritize projects according to needs

Future Prospects

As well as the chance to receive full on the job training throughout, by the end of the Apprenticeship you?ll have gained nationally accredited qualifications as well as English & maths Functional Skills Level 2.

The Business are also offering a full, long term position of employment with them upon successful completion of the Level 3.
