By working alongside this company; you'll become a excellent Help Desk Technician, whose able to diagnose, trouble and assist the companies customers. The overall goal for this team to to consistently create value for their clients and the successful Apprentice will help preserve the companies reputation and business.

Main Roles:

? Support the senior team by serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
? Take ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution. Have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
? Support with the performing of remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions - Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues. Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem.
? Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
? Become able to build PCs and servers and replace parts as required. Must have hands-on experience with Microsoft operating systems and applications.
? Be interested in evaluating and implementing new technology.
? Aim to follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams. Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel. Be able to work well as a team.
? Aim to consistently follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting. Ensure all issues are properly logged.
? Become able to prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.
? Establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals.

Qualifications Required

You'll need to have a minimum 5 GCSE's, grade A-C/8-4 or the Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent including English, maths and ICT.
