Adept at technology? Remit Group are recruiting on the behalf of our national award-winning client; who due to continuous growth are seeking an Apprentice to join their internal IT department based at their North West office location in Warrington!

Vacancy Detail

This is a fantastic opportunity for a computer literate and technological individual to join a business where; as an Apprentice you can learn and develop on a variety of skills to correctly provide support within an incredibly diverse and welcoming IT environment.

This position will have the Apprentice aiming to assist with the day to day running of the businesses internal IT Function, supporting 3 regions from the businesses Group HQ in Birchwood, Warrington. Additionally the Apprentice will have the equal chances to work and achieve an industry accredited Level 3 qualification in the Infrastructure Technician Standard.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

- Working in conjunction with the current IT Team by:

? Learning how to log IT helpdesk support tickets
? Assist in speaking with end users on the phone as part of the helpdesk
? Support with gathering Information and resolving technical issues, escalating as required
? Deal with general documentation and updating or IT portal
? Support with the occasional site visit
? Assisting with some IT projects in house

- Having the chance to work with the technologies and products the business use in house, such as;

? Office 365/Microsoft 365
? Remote support ? using TeamViewer and RDP
? UNIFI Firewalls and Wireless
? Dell - Desktops, Laptops
? Phone systems
? VPN?s (Meraki & Cisco)
? Tablets and Mobiles (Android and iOS)
? VMware & Windows Servers

The candidate is not expected to be proficient with these technologies from the start, suitable in-house coaching and training will be provided and complement the core apprenticeship training.

Qualifications Required

Minimum 5 GCSE's, grade 5 or above, including ICT, English and Maths.
