The role will encompass full training to best industry standards in all aspects of tyre management and include:

Typical duties can include:

Regular inspections of commercial vehicles to identify faults and address them
Accurate fitting and repair of tyres to a wide range of commercial and specialist vehicles
Responding to emergency call outs to commercial vehicles.
Safe demounting, repair & remounting of tubeless tyres (including Wide Singles), inner tubes, specialist tyres and Multi Piece Split Rim wheels.
Safe tyre regrooving ? including assessment of tyre condition and knowledge of tyre manufacturer?s regrooving patterns.
Stock control, ensuring the mobile unit is equipped with tyres of correct specification

INDAUTO

Qualifications Required

A full UK Driving Licence.

Future Prospects

On successful completion of your Level 2 apprenticeship along with functional skills in Maths and English and ICT (where required) you will be a fully qualified Specialist Tyre Operative with the skills to continue your career in the industry.

Other Information

This role requires Saturday working and the working hours are 46.5 per week
Candidates must be 18 or over and have a Full driving license to meet business needs.
