Brief Description

Remit Group are recruiting on the behalf of Smart Fleet Solutions; a group of vehicle refurbishment experts! Due to their continuous expansion they're actively looking for a technical individual to join their IT Support team in their Crewe offices!

Vacancy Detail

This is an excellent opportunity to progress a career within IT by getting involved in a varied IT Service Desk role; where the successful Apprentice will have the opportunity to work closely with developers. This role will revolve around providing a list of 1st and 2nd Line Support for all staff across the Business.

Their ideal Apprentice will need to be a customer focused individual who displays initiative alongside a helpful approach to all users, staff and the rest of the Smart Fleet IT Team. Full training can also be provided to the right applicant throughout this position.

Main Responsibilities;

Assist and aim to provide 1st and 2nd Line Support to all internal customers
Learn how to take ownership of users problems; whilst aiming to become proactive when dealing with user issues.
Aim to assist in managing incidents, problems and requests via the Smart Fleet ticket management system
Support the Development Team by learning how to spot and raise potential bug issues
Learn all about the installation and set-up of new equipment; such as PC's, Mobiles, Printers and Tablets
Aim to follow Service Desk policies and procedures
Learn how to maintain all systems documentation

The successful Apprentice will also

Develop and Support with a range of different technologies including;
Various Hardware - PC's, Mobiles, Printers and Tablets.
Active Directory and Office 365
Various bespoke Android Applications
Dynamics NAV

Qualifications Required

You will hold at least five GCSEs at grade A to C / or 9 to 4 including Math's, English and ICT (or if you possess the Functional Skills Equivalent)

Personal Qualities

An overall technically minded individual
Good ability with problem solving
Able to work independently as well as within a team
They will need to have a firm grasp of the English language, both verbal and written

Skills Required

Previous experience is not necessary, but you will be enthusiastic and motivated to learn and to develop a career within IT
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work under pressure, with the ability to priorities and be organized
You will be a good team player, have excellent client care skills and be computer literate

Future Prospects

As well as the chance to receive full on the job training throughout, by the end of the apprenticeship you?ll have gained nationally accredited qualifications as well as English & maths Functional Skills Level 2.
The company are also offering a full, long term position of employment with them upon successful completion of the Level 3.
