Brief Description : Remit Group are recruiting on the behalf of our client; Imagile Group; a team of individuals based within the Bristol area. Due to continued expansion they're seeking a technically individual to join them in providing IT Support to all their clients
Qualifications Required : You need to have at least 5 GCSE's grade A*-C or 9-4 including English, maths and ICT or the equivalent.
Vacancy Detail : This is a fantastic opportunity to get started on a long term career within the IT field where the successful Apprentice will have the chance to provide day to day general IT Support to all of Imagile Groups employees.
The Apprentice will have the opportunity to;
Learn how to identify, diagnose and resolve Tier One problems (software and hardware) and communicate solutions to end-users
Aim to provide one-on-one end-user problem resolution over the phone/email/remote desktop for all Imagile Group employees
Assist with configuration and setup of end-user PCs
Assist with mobile phone and tablet (iPhone/iPad) troubleshooting
Aim to carry out password resets and answer other account queries.
Learn how to provide first line support for in-house developed solutions.
Assists Senior members of IT team in creating training materials for end-users – for example, frequently asked questions, how-to’s, other documentation as required
Undertake such other duties as may reasonably be determined as commensurate with the grade of the post.

Working Week : Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Salary : £230.00 Per Week

Skills Required : The following skills are essential;
Computer related education
Knowledge of desktop operating systems:
Windows 8.1 & 10,
Microsoft Office 365, PC hardware.
Experience of working in a Customer Service role.
Future Prospects : For the ideal candidate, as well as the chance to achieve a nationally recognized Level 3 qualification, they'll also have the chance to work and receive support for Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths alongside.
There is also the opportunity for progression within the business upon successful completion of the Level 3.
Training to be Provided : The Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship will enable you to gain the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours to provide first or second line support to internal and external customers and stakeholders to help them be productive when using technology. By the end of the programme, you will be able to set people up on their IT systems and provide support when needed, rectifying issues to maintain colleagues’ and the organisation’s productivity. Job roles include helpdesk technician, first or second line IT support roles or Network support roles. As a result, you will receive the following qualification: Infrastructure Technician (Standard) Level 3 Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)MTA Network Fundamentals/CompTIA A+/ CompTIA Network+ professional qualification (Choose one option)
Things to consider : The following skills are desirable to our client but not overall essential;
At least 6 months experience in an IT related environment
Experience of ticketing and asset management systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012, Active Directory, Group Policy
User management (locking, changing passwords etc.)
