Remit Group are recruiting on the behalf of Logiplex; an organisation who supply full IT Services to Businesses all over! They're actively looking for a new Infrastructure Technician to join their UK Team in Herefordshire

The Apprentice's duties will cover many different areas;

Assist with the repairing, building, upgrading and supporting computer related equipment including Printers, Apple, Windows and Mobile Devices.
Learn how to install software and configure using available tools, in support of customers; requirements.
Assist with Ad-Hoc Computer related tasks such as Customer Support & Training
There may be some on-site customer work that the Apprentice will be required to complete on an Ad-Hoc basis
Develop and deal with Remote Support for Users PC's and Servers
Assist in offering first and second-line support to customers over the phone and using remote management tools
Learn how to escalate issues to engineers where necessary if the Technical issue cannot be resolve over the phone.
Help and Assist with Sales and Service of IT related equipment and services

Qualifications Required

You need to have at least 5 GCSE's grade A/C or 9/4 including English, Maths and ICT or the equivalent

Skills Required

Able to deliver excellent customer Services in an honest, friendly and helpful manner
Manage and resolve daily computer related issues
Follow instructions but also be able to resolve issues using own initiative with the resources available
You must have good English skills both written and oral
Knowledge of Windows Platform and Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of MAC OS, Architecture and Design.
Understanding of Networking, Infrastructure and design, wired, wireless and EOP.

Future Prospects

As well as the chance to receive full on the job training throughout, by the end of the apprenticeship you?ll have gained nationally accredited qualifications as well as English & Maths Functional Skills Level 2.

The company are also offering a full, long term position of employment with them upon successful completion of the Level 3.

Our client has informed us that they will pay a certain amount towards candidates travel expenses - within reason.
