Remit group are recruiting on behalf of TTS360. A fantastic opportunity to build a strong foundation as a software developer based upon your passion for tech, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications and services.

TTS360 are looking for a talented junior developer to join the team in Burton. Ideally you will be knowledgeable with commercial web application development.
You will be exposed to understanding how to develop web applications whilst working with a dedicated and supportive team working on numerous projects that encompass web, desktop and mobile apps.

As part of your day-to-day responsibilities, you will assist in:
? Achieving a greater understanding of various programming languages including HTML, C#, CSS, Java Script and SQL
? Software architecture
? Maintaining current projects
? Database management and Website development
? Understanding programming basics
? Writing code for programmes as directed by the team
? Designing, developing and testing applications
? Working closely with the team to establish requirements and help work out the best way to achieve them
? Testing installation, security and compatibility issues
? Keeping accurate records of the development process, changes and results
? Reviewing test results and fixing technical problems
? Maintaining and supporting systems (and system changes) once they are up and running
? Extracting Management Information via SQL for reporting and using Excel spreadsheets

Qualifications Required

?GCSE A-C including Maths / English & ICT or equivalents

Personal Qualities

? A desire to expand knowledge
? Self-motivated
? High level of attention to detail
? Passion for software development
? Methodical and logical approach to problem diagnosis and resolution
? Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with customers at all levels, by telephone, face-to-face and in writing

Skills Required

? Basic knowledge of programming languages in HTML, CSS, C# or JavaScript
? Brief knowledge of the full development life cycle would be beneficial
? Experience in jQuery is not essential but would be an advantage
? Experience working ASP.Net / VB.Net / C#, is not essential however would be valuable as you will be exposed to these technologies
? Creative approach to problem solving
