Brief Description : Remit are recruiting for Chelmsford Accident Repair who have an opportunity in their bodyshop, for an apprentice Vehicle paint technician. You will be mentored by their own fully qualified Senior Vehicle paint Technician in all the latest techniques.
Qualifications Required : An apprenticeship is a great way to bridge the gap between the student and working world. This apprenticeship lasts for 18 months, but the skills you will learn will last a lifetime.
Vacancy Detail : .You will receive first class training in all the latest repair techniques from Commercial Bodyworks fully qualified Senior Body Repair Technicians. You will be that all important first contact for the customer who need your services after an accident.
Training will include:
• Damage assessment
• Job cards and assessment reports
• Panel removal, repair and refit
• Chassis alignment techniques
• Welding and joining
• Vehicle valeting

Training to be Provided : This is a Vehicle Paint Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by Remit Group. Training is delivered in the workplace and on block release at the Remit Academy in Derby. This means you will be required to stay in a hotel for 5 separate weeks (Mon – Fri)per year over the duration of the programme. All associated costs for training are met by the employer and there will be no cost to you. You will also be assigned a dedicated Development Coach who will visit you every 4-6 weeks at the workplace, giving 1-2-1 information, advice and guidance. As a result, you will receive the following qualification:• VRQ & VCQ level 3 certificate in Vehicle Paint Functional Skills in English & maths (if required)
