Brief Description : Remit Group are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of British Car Auctions in Measham for a business admin apprentice to undertake various activities for the smooth running of the department.
Qualifications Required : GCSE Grades A - C preferred in English and Maths
Vacancy Detail : The role, based within the bid team, will involve substantial liaison with both internal and external customers in a timely and constructive manner.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Maintain and update Online Systems
• Investigate post sale bid disputes
• Develop internal and external relationships with vendors and buyers
• Maintain the current bid management programme
• Maintain Pre Sale Online activity including reporting and creations
• Maintain Post Sale Online activity including reporting and sale confirmations
• Maintain Provisional bid systems
You will undertake a Business Admin Level 2 qualification as part of this role. This is 13 months duration. You will receive regular visits from a Development Coach.

Working Week : 37.5 hours pw; 08.30 - 17.00 1 hour for lunch
Salary : £187.50 Per Week

Personal Qualities : An interest in the car industry would be useful for this role; you will need to be self-motivated and a great team player.
Skills Required : You will have an interest in IT and be computer literate as the role will be working with the on-line bidding system. Previous experience in working with online systems would be an advantage.
You will have excellent skills in Office products including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook. An advanced level of Excel would be an advantage
You will have a high degree of accuracy and great attention to detail along with a methodical approach to work.

Training to be Provided : The role of an Administrator is an important one, as they ensure the proper flow of office procedures and support various departments while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
As an apprentice, you will receive mentoring in the workplace and training from Remit Group to help develop your skills and achieve your Level 2
On successful completion, you will receive:
Level 2 Functional Skills in English & Maths (if required)
Level 2 in Business Administration
Other Information : Smart dress code applicable – However company uniform will be provided past 6 months start date. Onsite canteen available for staff with a 50% reduction on lunch. Car parking is available.
Things to consider : Great skills in Excel particularly are essential for this role which includes knowledge and use of functions.
