Brief Description

Remit are recruiting on behalf of ArcelorMittal Downstream Solutions in Halesowen for an apprentice to work in the Sales Team. You will undertake a Customer Service level 2 apprenticeship with scope for progression on to Level 3.

Vacancy Detail

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a prestigious international company in the steel industry.
The role will be based within the Sales Team and duties will include:
Assist with the collation of test certificates daily
Raising sales orders
Managing customer stocks
Engaging with new customers and contacts
Making outbound Sales calls to new and existing customers
Working with colleagues to ensure ArcelorMittal delivers the quality expected by their customers
Participation to ensure good team-work
Contribution to moving the business forward

Qualifications Required

GCSE Grade C or above/Grade 4-9 in English and Maths are required

Good personal presentation, honest, polite and friendly character
Keen to learn

An ability to stay calm and tactful under pressure
A bright and positive can-do attitude
Good telephone manner
Good time management
Flexibility
Computer proficient with Microsoft Office Package

Skills Required

Good IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
This job is dynamic, full of variety and you'll need to be able to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks. Candidates should be self motivated and able to take and receive instructions to meet daily requirements.
