Vacancy Detail

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Technician Apprentice to develop in a fast-paced environment, supporting a comprehensive range of products within a well-established company based in Derby. The ideal candidate will need to enjoy the challenge of providing excellent customer service to Counter Solutions extensive portfolio of clients in person, over the phone and via their CRM system.

These varied positions will also involve working directly with other aspects of the business such as Counter Solutions Quality Assurance, Hardware and Project teams. You will have the opportunity to assist with testing new software releases prior to upgrading clients, troubleshooting software defects, hot-staging devices in readiness for deployment to client sites and configuring systems for new and existing customers.

Job Roles:

? Learning how to continuously provide excellent customer service to Counter Solutions extensive portfolio of clients.
? Learn how to provide support for the businesses comprehensive range of products.
? Have the opportunity to assist with troubleshooting software defects and escalating issues to their Research and Development team with great attention to detail.
? Assisting the QA team with testing new software releases prior to publication.
? Have the chance to hot stage devices prior to their implementation.
? Help in assisting the Projects team with configuring systems for new and existing customers.

INDIT

Qualifications Required

Ideally you are required to have GCSEs grade A/C - 9/4 in Maths, English and ICT or have the equivalent in Functional Skills.

Possess a good working knowledge of IT operations.

Future Prospects

As well as the chance to receive full on the job training throughout, by the end of the apprenticeship you?ll have gained nationally accredited qualifications as well as English & maths Functional Skills Level 2.

The company are also offering a full, long term position of employment with them upon successful completion of the Level 3.
