Remit are recruiting on behalf of the Pollards Inn for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work towards a Nationally recognised qualification whilst gaining hands on experience in a busy kitchen! The apprentice will join a friendly kitchen team to join the experienced kitchen brigade.

Are you interested in food and can show that you are dedicated to doing a good job and serving tasty, healthy food to the customers? The Pollards Inn will supply good training, a healthy and happy environment, and the chance to learn while you work.

We serve a wide variety of pub food, we have a very busy kitchen brigade who will support you as you learn all aspects of the role. You key responsibilities will include:
- Serving mostly homemade food, from sandwiches and soups through to stunning salads and Sunday roasts.
- Learn all aspects of food preparation
- Adhere to health and safety and food hygiene regulations
- Carry out all tasks as directed by your immediate supervisor/ manager and to assist in any other areas or duties within the kitchen
- To cook and present food to a high standard
- To take ownership on correct portion control and that wastage is kept to a minimum
- To take ownership for kitchen cleanliness at all times

Flexibility is required to work 40 hours across the week, shifts approximately 6-8 hours.
The salary is National Minimum Wage for age.
