Brief Description

Remit Group are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Fine Lady Bakeries, specialist bakers and providers of baked goods to the supermarket chains.

Vacancy Detail

As well as the Food and Drink Process Operator apprenticeship you will gain extensive skills and experience in Plant Bakery Operation, Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene, New Production Development and Continuous improvement Techniques.

As a Production Operative you will ensure the efficient running of production and packing processes to meet product specifications and quality, responding to problems with machines and product and completing all relevant paperwork whilst maintaining high safety standards.

Tasks will include:
- Weighing up ingredients
- Mixing ingredients in line with recipes and product guidelines
- Baking
- Slicing
- Pulling off packed products
Everything will need to be done in line with company procedures and adhere to stringent quality and food safety standards. This will involve completing the necessary paperwork and dealing with machinery safely

INDBUS

Qualifications Required

Min 5 GCSE?s including Maths and English Grade A*(9) to C(4). Due to the working environment you will need to be at least 18 years old.

Other Information

Please note the shift pattern - 4 on 4 off shift pattern; 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off. 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am. Covering weekdays/weekends and bank holidays. 4 x 30 minute breaks on 12 hour shift. Personal Protective Equipment will be provided.
The apprenticeship will last a minimum of 18 months and you should be willing to make a commitment to this timeframe during your permanent employment as a Production Operative
