Brief Description

Remit Group are recruiting on behalf of The Sytner Group and their manufacture partner, Mercedes Benz for a Retail Apprentice based in Bristol

Vacancy Detail

This is a customer facing role within the After Sales department. You will gain a thorough knowledge of the workings of a prestige car dealership, initially gaining experience by working in all departments covering all aspects and job roles at your dealership. You will then focus on the aftersales roles in more detail.

Typical duties will include:

? Assess the customer?s needs and requirements, providing customers with specific information about all Mercedes-Benz products.
? Promote the benefits and unique selling points of Mercedes-Benz Cars, accessories and vehicle ownership.
? To provide a ?hub? for product knowledge, ensuring that product knowledge remains current and up to date
? To deal with customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs in an efficient and courteous manner.
? To support and assist the Service Manager in all areas of customer handling, problem solving and delivery of Best Company to work for and Best Company to do business objectives.
? To support and assist the Service Manager in achievement of Workshop productivity levels.
? To record vehicle details and service histories accurately and effectively carry out customer follow up in order to promote sales of labour, parts and fitted accessories
In all areas you?ll be expected to deal with customer requirements in an efficient and courteous manner, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of staff to achieve a high standard of customer satisfaction.
You?ll ensure the highest standards of personal appearance and housekeeping within the dealership. You will of course, also make sure that any admin tasks are carried out accurately and in a timely manner

The Sytner Group pride themselves on providing outstanding levels of Customer Service, which is why the apprenticeship will lead to a Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 qualification.

Qualifications Required

PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING FOR THIS ROLE
? A full clean driving licence is essential.
? Maths & English GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
? A level standard or equivalent education is preferred but not essential for the right candidate

Personal Qualities

You will have a genuine warmth and enthusiasm for people, confidence and an outgoing personality, a strong work ethic and the drive to succeed in a fast-paced customer service environment. Candidates must have a keen interest in the motor industry, be reliable, with excellent timekeeping and attendance. You will have a smart and professional appearance and manner.

Skills Required

As a Retail Apprentice you will need to demonstrate:
? Knowledge of the Sytner Group. You will be expected to demonstrate this from initial contact.
? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
? Good level of numeracy
? Ability to negotiate
? Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships
? Competent IT skills ? both computers and other hardware such as tablets, smart phones etc.
? Ability to communicate technical knowledge to customers
? Good presentation skills
? Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
? Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own caseload of work

During your apprenticeship you will receive mentoring support and feedback through monthly reviews.
Selected candidates will be invited to attend an interview week commencing 15th July and following this, selected candidates will be invited to attend a half day Assessment Centre during week commencing 12th August 2019. Applicants should ensure that they are able to attend on these dates if shortlisted.

Employment will commence for successful candidates on the 24th September 2019.
