Brief Description : Remit Group are recruiting on behalf of international company, Bouygues, who are looking for a business admin apprentice to join their team in London SE1 and would ideally suit someone living in the Westminster area.
Qualifications Required : GCSE Grades A - C (4 -9) are preferred
Typing RSA Grade 1 or II would be useful
An interest in construction and / or facilities management would be of benefit
Vacancy Detail : The main purpose of this role is to provide an excellent level of customer service through effective, proactive, professional and flexible help desk and administration service.
This will be a very busy and varied role and duties will include:
- Receive calls on the contract helpdesk and ensure that they are logged and assigned to operational staff
- to keep customers informed at all times of the progress of the jobs they have raised
- provide full administrative support including answering the phone, drafting correspondence and reports, filing, organising meetings, producing agendas and minutes, collating and circulating information, meeting room bookings and diary management
- raising and receiving Purchase Orders and associated documents
- compile monthly payroll spreadsheets for authorisation
- liaison with subcontractors

Working Week : 40 hours pw; Mon - Fri between 08.00 - 18.00; 1 hr break unpaid
Salary : £246.00 Per Week

Personal Qualities : You will a great team player who can work to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will be confident using the phone along with talking face to face. You'll be able to work under pressure
Skills Required : Excellent communication and IT skills including Word and Excel are required for this role, along with the ability to work with a wide range of people in a proactive manner.
You may have had previous helpdesk or admin experience and experience in or an interest in facilities management
You will be required to undertake tests in English, Maths and ICT as part of the recruitment process.

As an apprentice, you will receive mentoring in the workplace and training from Remit Group to help develop your skills and achieve your Level 2
On successful completion, you will receive:
Level 1 / Level 2 Functional Skills in English & Maths (if required)
Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship Framework.

Age Related National Minimum Wage is payable.
