Brief Description

Remit Group are currently recruiting on behalf of The RTC Group Plc. This is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience in all areas of IT support as an IT Infrastructure Technician Apprentice.

Vacancy Detail

The IT Infrastructure Technician will be responsible for:

- Monitoring of the companies helpdesk system, serving as a ?first point? of contact to RTC Group employee?s requiring IT assistance and actioning support requests/incidents logged on HEAT.
- Supporting end users with basic troubleshooting of technical issues relating to company Laptop/Desktops, Printers/MFD?s, internet, LAN/WAN and Telephony.
- Performing remote troubleshooting where necessary
- Logging incidents and escalating to the resolving team per our agreed service level agreement
- Daily administrative duties including but not limited to:
Processing Newstarters and Leaver requests,
Monitoring Client Endpoint Protection and Mobile Device Management Platform,
Printer consumables,
General maintenance tasks,
Asset Management Database,
Updating internal IT documentation and processes.

Qualifications Required

A-C in Maths & English an advantage (or equivalent).

Personal Qualities

Organisational & planning skills, with good attention to detail.
Communication skills ? written & verbal.
Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
Able to work with minimal supervision.

Skills Required

? Excellent Communication Skills
? Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
? Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and technology products.
? Experience using Windows 7, Windows 10 Operating Systems, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
? Customer-oriented
