Remit Group are recruiting on the behalf of Advanced IT Services, they have a strong IT direction and are looking for an IT Support Apprentice to work in a varied role within Advanced IT's Data/Telecoms and Installation departments

This is a fantastic opportunity for any technically minded, computer literate individual to join an ever expanding team. You'll get involved with their different departments in a role that blends many aspects of IT Support

Your main roles will include

The provision of 1st Line Technical and Operational support to all external client schools and commercial customers
You'll execute help desk tasks and faults ensuring an adequate systems delivery and problem resolution within agreed timescales
You'll be tasked with performing preventative and corrective maintenance of ICT
Perform computer updates and replacements as directed.
You'll need to install and configure all PC workstations and associated software packages as directed.
You will also occasionally assist with the provision of technical support to the company and the school
You will also need to take responsibility for the promoting and safeguarding of welfare of the children and young people within the school

GCSE's at grade A*-C (or equivalent), in maths & English.

Skills Required

You'll need to have

An experience of using computers, including knowledge of desktop operating systems and hardware
An Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
