Brief Description : Remit Group are recruiting on the behalf of Elephant Digital, whose mission is to help their clients grow their businesses through creating a powerful brand experience. They're on the lookout for a talented individual who wants to go into Web Development
Qualifications Required : You will need 5 GCSE's with grade A/C or 9/4 including English, Maths and ICT or you will need to have the Functional Skills equivalent
Vacancy Detail : This apprenticeship is a fantastic oppourtunity to work with a vibrant and exciting team on some of the UK's best loved brands, where you'll worked on a wide range of Web Design and Development, Branding and Digital Marketing projects. The Elephant Digital team are growing fast and they are looking for an enthusiastic individual to gain experience within Web Development.
Your Roles and Responsibilites:
You'll work with various web development languages, including; HTML, CSS, PHP MySQL, JavaScript and jQuery.
You will need to work with both back and front end development
Be responsible for creating websites for the companies clients, whilst working with limited supervison
You'll need to deliver and develop cutting edge coding practices within the fast paced environment.
Above all Elephant Digital are looking for someone who can communicate effectively and has a good grasp on problem solving. You also need to love to learn and develop your skills within the company.

Working Week : Monday to Friday: 9:00am till 5:00pm
Salary : £136.50 Per Week

Skills Required : Elephant Digital require someone with the folllowing:
You will need to have experience in front-end development
An understanding of development of responsive websites
You will need to have a knowledge on HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, JavaScript jQuery and SASS/LESS
You will also need a knowledge or experience with WordPress; building bespoke websites
Have a knowledge of emerging technologies and platforms.
Future Prospects : Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship Elephant Digital are looking for someone who can stay with them long term as a Web Developer
Training to be Provided : The apprenticeship includes a balance of content in technical, business and interpersonal areas, designed to ensure you have an appropriate set of skills to operate in today’s IT and Telecoms job roles. The technical content includes a choice of units for Software Development, Web Development, Technical Support, Telecommunications and Databases. IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Professional Level 3 includes: Level 3 IT Professional Competence Diploma, Level 3 ICT Systems and Principles Diploma, Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT L2
Other Information : The Successful Apprentices' wage will start off at £3.90ph however this will increase to £4.50 on performance reviews
